ASAP GOLF
Privacy policy
Effective October 18, 2026
ASAP Golf (asap.golf) helps you find tee times and plan rounds with friends. This policy explains the information processed when you use the service, including its testing environment. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to conor@conorfitz.com.
Information we process
- Account information. When you sign in, our authentication service processes your account identifier, email address, verification status and basic profile information supplied by your sign-in provider, such as your name or profile image. Session cookies keep you signed in.
- Preferences and plans. We store information you choose to save, such as your display name, home base or address, selected courses, budget, travel limits, playing windows, alerts, group membership, invitations, notes and votes.
- Location. If you provide an address or allow browser location access, we process the location to show nearby courses and estimate drives. You can browse using a regional starting point without providing your home address.
- Usage and technical data. We use our own usage records and Google Analytics to understand visits, searches, course views, booking clicks and planning features. These use browser identifiers, device categories and referral information. Outbound booking clicks can also include the selected course, requested date, time window, player count, and the displayed start time and price when a particular tee time was chosen. We may share aggregate referral and search-intent counts with courses; we do not share browser identifiers in those reports. Hosting and security services also process request information, which can include IP addresses and browser details.
- Messages and submissions. We process course requests and information you send to support. If you use an AI planning feature, the messages and relevant planning context are processed by the AI service to answer your request. Avoid entering sensitive personal information in messages or shared notes.
Google sign-in
Google sign-in uses basic identity information to authenticate you and connect you to your ASAP Golf account and saved features. We do not request access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, contacts or Google Calendar for sign-in. We do not sell Google sign-in data or use it for personalized advertising.
How information is used and shared
We use information to provide authentication, save preferences, calculate relevant results, coordinate rounds, operate alerts where enabled, answer requests, measure use and protect the service.
Service providers process information needed for hosting, authentication, databases, analytics, AI responses and location-related features. Depending on the environment and feature, these include OpenAI, Cloudflare, Vercel, Neon and Google. Address lookup, routing and weather services can receive addresses, coordinates, destinations or request details needed for that feature; configured services include the US Census geocoder, TomTom, Mapbox, Open-Meteo and the National Weather Service.
Group members can see shared names, playing availability, notes and votes. Group owners can see invitation email addresses. People with a shared poll link can view the poll and submitted names and choices. Share links only with people you intend to include.
Opening a course, booking or directions link sends you to a separate service governed by its own privacy policy. Booking and payment details entered there are handled by that service.
Cookies, browser storage and analytics choices
Cookies and browser storage support sign-in, preferences, saved selections and analytics. Our custom analytics events exclude names, email addresses, home addresses and private poll links. Google Analytics is configured with advertising personalization and Google Signals disabled. Our usage tracking and Google Analytics respect browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. You can also manage cookies and stored site data through your browser; removing them may sign you out or clear preferences.
Retention and your choices
Our own detailed usage records are kept for 90 days. Saved account and planning information remains available while needed for the service or until removed. Other providers may retain operational records under their own policies, and backups may persist after active records are removed.
You can change saved preferences in the app and decline browser location permission. To request access, correction or deletion of your account and associated information, email conor@conorfitz.com from the address associated with your account. We may verify your identity before acting. Some records may need to be retained to address security, disputes or legal obligations.
You can revoke Google access through your Google Account settings. Revoking access stops future Google sign-ins through that connection; it does not by itself delete information already saved in ASAP Golf.
Updates
We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Contact us if you have questions about these practices.
